Certamen

Certamen is a game of fast recall of facts about Roman Life, Mythology, Roman History, and Latin Vocabulary and Derivatives.  The matches are supposed to be fun, competitive, and informative. Bear Creek students are members of the National Junior Classical League and the Ontario Junior Classical League.  We compete in two major competitions (Fall and Spring Certamens) each school year and field 2 junior, 2 intermediate, and 2 senior teams.
